Company founder Jess wins the Scottish Samurai Award for her long-standing services to Japan and Scotland
2018
Jess leaves her job at the Consulate General of Japan to dedicate herself full-time to Japanese language education, and the Japanese-language community in Edinburgh and beyond.
2017
Nihongo Connection Online Japanese Conversation Club is established
2016
First JLPT Bootcamp takes place, with the support of JETAA Scotland and the University of Edinburgh
2014
Nihongo Connection Founder Jess started a Japanese conversation club called "Nihongo Scotland". Japanese friends heard what Jess was doing, and came along to support the group on their journey to fluency.
